Centro Scuola was started in 1976 for the purpose of promoting Italian language courses for students from the community. In co-operation with school boards across the GTA, Centro Scuola has provided in-service training, resources, and program development for the International Languages classes in Italian. For more information about in-school classes contact your local school board. Centro Scuola also organizes a variety of Italian classes at the Columbus Centre to help children and adult learners broaden their language skills in a variety of settings. Through sports, music, dance, drama, cooking, and travel opportunities, students gain fluency in Italian as they enjoy the activities of the particular class.
